To answer with a question: Have you ever used a search engine and found that the results were often wrong or useless? It is our belief that this is caused by certain people gaming the artificial intelligence that determines a page's content. Traditional search engines have worked one of two ways: Either a small collection of people on a payroll manually add search results or computer software uses formulas to determine the page's content.

Okay, but what does Jack of All Links do differently?

We have thrown out the traditional two models and gone with an entirely new third option: Jack of All Links' search results are a direct result of what our users submit to us. This is pure, unadultered Web 2.0: A search engine built by its users. Users submitting their own sites, tags, and phrases collectively form, in our opinion, a more accurate search result. So if you're searching for hockey equipment, you're less likely to get ads about cheap drugs.
